Great Children Links

Children naturally look to their parents as the first teachers of the Faith.  What a powerful and meaningful role to assume.  Instruction is available to help guide parents toward the Truth and Light of the world - Jesus.  With the help of some of these useful Catholic and Christian children-oriented links, young families can become engaged in: bible reflections, stories, art and activities designed to bring them closer to the Lord.   

Faith First    Published by Resources for Christian Living, one of the many wonderful aspects for children and families is the "Gospel Reflections" section.  Additional features include movie reviews, family prayers, questions kids ask, and many more.

Creighton On-Line Ministries    Published by Creighton University.  There are reflections of the liturgy everyday by professors from Creigton.  The Sunday first and second reading and gospel reflections are written every week by Jesuit priest, Larry Gillick, the Director of Deglman Center for Ignatian Spirituality.    

My Friend Magazine     Published by the Daughters of St. Paul, this is a Catholic magazine for kids, with "Fun stuff to read", "Fun stuff to do" and instructions for parents and teachers.

EWTN kids     Published by Global Catholic Network, this is a children’s interactive religious playground.  Some fun features include:  a EWTN Clubhouse, a Village, learning about Sacraments, Bible Bites, Sing along with EWTN radio, coloring books, patron saints and more. 

Catholic Kids     Published by Catholic Kids, this is a traditional website for kids of all ages with information and resources on the Rosary, prayers & Bible quizzes.

Domestic Church     Published by Domestic Church Communications, Ltd., this site contains many family centered activities designed to bring the ligurgical life of the church i the home and teach children about living the Catholic faith.  Refrigerator Art is a nice feature.
