Our Lady of Angels parishioners have been asking how they can help relieve the suffering of the the victims of Hurricane Katrina.  The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has identified three main ways to help, among others:

1.  NATIONAL COLLECTION - The USCCB has announced that a national collection for Hurricane Relief will be taken up in the 195 Catholic Diocese thoughout the U.S.  OLA’s Hurricane Relief collection will be at September 10th and 11th masses.  If you miss the collection, please stop by the Rectory with your donation.

2.  CATHOLIC CHARITIES USA - The USCCB has commissioned Catholic Charities to represent the Catholic community in times of domestic disaster, responding with emergency and long-term assistance as needed.
