Mission
The goal of Our Lady of Angels Preschool is the formation of a Christian community for young children and their families. Children learn about God’s love and acceptance through the love and acceptance of those around them. OLA Preschool, in conjunctions with the parents, will accomplish this is in an environment which encompasses the child’s safety and physical needs and caters to their intellectual and emotion needs. Our goal is that each child develops to their full potential emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. The Preschool environment includes playing and working with a variety of materials and equipment, learning new skills, verbally, socially and physically, while learning to think of Jesus as their friend and God as their Father. In this way we hope to develop in each child a sense of self-confidence, cooperation with others, creativity, and love of God.
Program
Classes are for children 3 to 4 years of age as of 9/1. Children need to be toilet trained & independent in the bathroom.
3 year olds 3 days M, T, & Th 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. 3 years old 3 days M, W, & F 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. 4 years old/preK 4 days T, W, Th, & F 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. 4 years old/preK 4 days T, W, Th, & F 12:15 - 3:15 p.m.
Applications
Applications are accepted starting in January of the year the child is to enroll. A completed application must be accompanied by a $100 non-refundable fee. Rolling applications are accepted as space permits and a waiting list is maintained. Applications are available in the preschool office during regular office hours, which are Monday 9 a.m. - noon and Tuesday - Friday 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
