OLA Volunteer Opportunites: Details   

1.  Catholic Worker House:  Tuesdays dinners

Tuesday meals from April on needed now.
OLA has committed to cook & serve meals for the homeless every Tuesday from 5 to 7pm at CWH. 
If you cannot volunteer, please consider donating: paper towels, trash bags, milk, butter, juice, vegetables, fruit, peanut butter, jelly, bath soap, shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste, brown lunch bags & cereal.  

2.  Mission Hospice

3.  CALL Primrose:  Donate Food
Contact: Mary Watt 342-CALL (2255).
Drop of food or toiletry donations M-F 9-3 at 139 Primrose Road.  Helpers always appreciated on weekdays from or stocking bags for the homeless.   

4.  OLA FISH:  Rides for Seniors
Contact:  Pete Gort, (650) 344-9809
We provide rides to doctors and dentists appointments for needy Seniors unable to drive. To continue this service we need help.  Can you help one day a month?

5.  LITERACY PROGRAM:  Donate books
Contact:  Just drop off in blue bag in church vestibule.  For more see www.samaritanhouse.com.
Donate books for children who come to the Samaritan House medical clinic with their parents. They frequently grow up in homes without books;  disadvantage when they start school. Gently used and new books are welcome. 

6.  BROWN BAG SUNDAY:  Pack Sacks 
Contact:  Just come the 1st Sunday of each month at 8am to Lower Hall
We make lunches for the Homeless for St. Vincent de Paul.
